Welcome to the First Baptist Church of Lebanon. If you are looking for a church home, we extend a cordial invitation for you to join us. We are located at the corner of School St. and Green St. in downtown Lebanon, New Hampshire. Our worship service begins at 10:00 A.M. every Sunday.
The First Baptist church attempts to be a community of believers, where together we worship our Lord Jesus Christ, fellowship with and support one another, and in His name reach out to the world around us. If you choose to join us, our prayer is that God will bless our time together in worship, that we will leave refreshed and renewed by His Spirit, and once again reflect our Lord's love towards others.
Our worship service is an informal place where you can worship God in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We would greatly enjoy the chance to worship with you.
Nursery Care is provided for infants and preschoolers during the worship service. Our Nursery is always staffed by at least one adult and one teenager. We work hard to provide a safe and pleasant environment young children.
Children's Fellowship is offered during the worship service following the Children's Story. This is an activity time for children age 4 through second grade and is likely to include arts & crafts, videos, and/or stories. Children's Fellowship meets three Sundays a month from September through June.
Sunday School meets Sundays at 9:00 a.m. from September through mid-June with classes for ages 3 through adult. Classes include our Nursery/Kindergarten Class, Grades 1 & 2, Grades 3 & 4, Grades 5 & 6, a Junior High class, a Senior High Class, and our Adult Class. We work with various curriculums to try to gain the best available for each age group. Sunday School begins the second Sunday of September with a Rally Day kickoff and cookout and culminates on the second Sunday in June with a Children's Day program and Church Picnic.
Youth Group meets on Sundays at 6:30 p.m. We have both a Senior High (grades 9-12) and a Junior High (grades 6-8) youth group. Games, refreshments, Bible Study, and special outings are all part of the fun! Some of our special outings in the past: The Inside Out Soul Festival at Loon Mountain, Water Gun Night, Bowling, Mini-Golf.
Couples Fellowship meets on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM and is a time of fellowship and Bible Study. The fellowship also sponsors monthly social events.
Divorce Care is a series of support groups and seminars for those experiencing the pain of separation and divorce. It is a place for learning and healing and features biblical teaching for recovering from divorce and separation. Contact the church office for details!
Women's Fellowship Dinners are held the third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. All women are invited out to a light meal, Bible Study, prayer and fellowship!
Men's Monthly Breakfasts are held on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 7:00 a.m. The breakfasts include Bible Study and Fellowship, and occasionally a guest speaker.
Annual Church Retreat held at Gove Hill.
Deeper Walk Home Groups
